6 amazing posts from around the interwebs.

3 July 2012

Battling another case of “too much stuff going on inside my head” again… So today I just really want to share with you some great posts from some amazing women all around the internet.

A Not Funny List of Things I’ve Learned From Comedians About Feelings by Ashley (Writing to Reach You)
Ashley (and in response, Katherine) has written about Podcasts in the past. And they’ve served as a great reminder to keep seeking out new podcasts (and blogs)… But I love this collection of quotes that she’s compiled.

“I’m too funny to be this single.” by Eleni (Hope Dies Last)
I’ve tried ignoring relationship posts lately. But this one is great. I think every single girl has asked the “why am I single?” question… but this is sort of a fun spin on it. Me? I’m too cute in tube socks to be this single. (Which, as Eleni has affirmed, is a TRAVESTY.)

Smile. Choose To Be Happy. by Caryn (A Day In The Life…)
Normally, I hate posts and messages like this. But two sentences sold me. “Being happy does not mean you are ignoring the issue. It means you are electing to see past the imperfections and make the most out of the situation at hand.” This? This is something I believe in. And I’m trying my best to make the most out of what’s in front of me.

letters, the third. by Abby (A Geek Tragedy)
I’ve loved these series of letters that Abby’s been doing. They’re short, but just great. I kind of want to do the same.

My Depression by Nic (Nic Narrates)
This is a really honest post. And I’d be lying if I said I couldn’t relate completely to it. I love that Nic could be so open and honest. Depression has such a stigma to it, but so many people deal with it and are constantly battling with it.

The one where I kindly tell you to shut up. by Brandy (It’s like I’m … Mmmagic!)
If you haven’t read this one yet, you should.

I’m also featuring posts on a regular basis on my Facebook page. Feel free to follow to keep up with them!

  • I heart you.

    • Erini

      🙂 you too lady.

  • I am truly honored to be included in this list and among so many other bloggers that I deeply admire. I am glad that those two sentences resonated with you. Keep smiling!

    • Erini

It’s taken a bit for everything to really sink in, but I’m slowly making happiness a firm choice.
