So every night for dinner I take an hour for myself. No social media, no twitch, and unless it’s a massive deadline, no work. I can watch TV or listen to music (because it’s just me here), but I’m turning dinner into a special time. A time to be quiet, to make it an event. It’s been an amazing change and I love it. I look forward to this hour and plan to continue this indefinitely. 💜

Finally able to give @madrinas Mocha Cold Brew a try. Absolutely LOVE it. Amazing flavor. It’s still a lot of caffeine for me (100mg per can), so I actually pour some into a glass, add a little extra almond milk, and split the can between a couple days.

I quickly realized that my break wasn’t working out. I was slipping deeper and deeper into avoidance behaviors. So rather than isolate myself in what is supposed to be a time of healing, I’m changing the rules. I’m ending the break. It’s not an either/or situation. It’s balance. One day I hope to find it. 💜
